The Birth of a Sunny Day Fairytales...Silent Stories.... Listen the song please! Fred, my friend, you wanted me to translate the song for you in English. I tried but the result of my efforts seems disastrous! Read it, Fred. Talk to your wife and then play the original Song once again. She may help you to understand the meaning of a sentence or two of the song! Others, may also listen the original Bengali song, sang by Sherya Ghoshal. In that case they may have to please Google the following: Roopkathara- Shreya Ghoshal (Bengali song), Lyrics on Screen Suddenly the light sparkled through the town, Fireflies or refreshed memories? Shaking heart, lonely situation, the nickname settled as Pollen Who loses, getting the hints? Speak up, oh my left out song! Roopkathara ra ra ra , Chupakathara ra ra ra , The birth of a sunny day! Manpahara ra ra ra , Friends ra ra ra, Today open Altushe Canteen! Dumb buildings, narrow ways, Myna bird's honest passion, Said again, holding letter in hand on the window seal! Who loses, getting the hints? Speak Up, oh my left out song! Roopkathara ra ra ra , Chupakathara ra ra ra , The birth of a sunny day! Manpahara ra ra ra , Friends ra ra ra, Today open Altushe Canteen! In the sun, while playing with poetry, inside the pages of a cold sleepy book Uncontrolled Tramcar, peanuts in closed fist, the vexing Seagull In the storm, sand and dirt, all accumulated as expected! Suddenly the town with old gold coins displayed under cover, And blushing in floating happiness for having a series of stories to tell! Who loses, getting the hints? Speak up, oh my left out song! Roopkathara ra ra ra , Chupakathara ra -ra ra , The birth of a sunny day! Manapahara ra ra ra , Friends ra ra –ra, Today open Altushe Canteen. The song is a popular one. It is difficult to translate the song in another language word by word perfectly! As requested at above, please listen the original Bengali song sang by Shreya Ghoshal and leave me feedbacks if you like. While Roopkothara could be translated in English as Fairytales, Chupkathara could be translated as Silent Stories. The original Bengali version of the song has been composed by Shantanu Moitra. |

Hi look.......the pictures are beautiful. I must admit I could not get the gist of the song but I am sure it would be a beautiful song if I could. Enjoy your day friend.

Not hearing the melody, it sounds to me like a bitter sweet sad song.... it is very difficult to translate songs from one language to another, because the nuance is usually lost. Have a great week. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Hi look.......the pictures are beautiful. I must admit I could not get the gist of the song but I am sure it would be a beautiful song if I could. Enjoy your day friend. It is my failure that the song could not be translated in English Properly! I have mentioned that in my blog. It is not possible to do so also. I trust that you know why it can not be done in such cases. However, I would suggest you to listen to the song if you can! You will then understand that the song tells about someone or something indomitable and beautiful to look at! Best wishes and regards, my friend.
