Photos, depicting Christmas Festival-2018.

For the viewers eyes only!
Here bellow posted some photos of Christmas celebrated this year by the Christian Community living in Bangladesh which is a secular country though over 85% of 170 million people are practicing Muslims. The day is a public holiday even though only 0.3% of the population of this country are Christians. December 25th is a day off for the general population.
Christians began the celebration early on Tuesday last. The Churches around Bangladesh had been illuminated and decorated, along with the nativity scene, that depicts the birth of Jesus Christ in the manger, and Christmas Cakes!

Thank you, Looklook....... hope your Christmas was good.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Thank you so much, Mrs. Joe. Christmas is a universal religious festival here in my country like other important religious festivals celebrated by Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. People practicing different religions are invited to celebrate such universal Festivals. This year it was not different. It was really good.

Hiya LookLook, that was a very informative and interesting Blog & Pics. When in Malaysia I have seen Greek Orthodox, Catholic, Buddhist and Muslim Houses of Worship within a mile in total of each other. They all get along fine. There are lots of problems with religious fanatics and zealots from all sides whom I think foment problems out of nothing. It was inspiring and heart-warming to see the Christmas celebrations. Great that everyone gets a public holiday out of it too! ~ Ratty ~
