A distorted sense of time

The meme posted below speaks for itself.

The past two years have completely changed our lives. The invisible tiny life form appears to have taken over our lifestyles. When are we going back to live our normal lives again? When will this sense of distorted time end?

If we define "normal" as the life we lived pre-Covid, we won't ever return to that......That's like people in the grips of war expecting their post-war lives to go back to what they were pre-war......Not gonna happen....

For instance, millions of people all over the globe were commuting to work every day and discovered during Covid that they can do their job as well or better from home.....and it's better for the environment .......

The picture is sooooo cute.... and typifies our lives in many ways now.

We need to be planning for a 'new normal'.... as Sparkleflit says above.

There are some things i like about the "new normal" I don't think life as we knew it will ever be the same again.

I love the cute picture.

Stay safe and well looklook.

NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHEN AND IF COVID WILL STOP INFLUENCING OUR DAILY LIFE. HOWEVER, SOME EXPERTS THINK THE PANDEMIC WILL END FAIRLY SOON AND COVID WILL BE INCLUDED IN OUR ANNUAL FLU SHOTS. WE CAN ONLY HOPE SO.

I see no reason to disagree with you, sparkleflit. You have rightly said that we won't ever return to that life we were living. Take care and stay safe.

So true, my friend. Thanks for the quick mail. It encouraged me to re-check the problem. Probably my net was attacked by another mutant of dangerous type. Be safe.

Thank you so much for the post, Maudie. Maybe, I shall miss the life that I have lived before the past two years. The picture was mailed to me by a friend of mine from Malaysia. Glad that you loved it. Stay happy and safe throughout the coming days.

You are right, Sewg. Masks will be the part and parcel of our dress code in the coming days! Future humans are not likely to fall in love at first sight! Stay safe always in the days ahead.

Archer, thanks for making me hopeful of a better time ahead! Is it not better to include covid in our annual flu shots? Thanks for the post. Stay happy.
