A Peaceful Sleep!

Is not the person sleeping under a mosquito net on a footpath bed a careful one?
He knows how to protect himself from mosquitoes, especially Aedes mosquito bites during early daytime in a city with a rise in dengue fever.
The person, a Rickshaw Puller, also knows how to protect his Rickshaw van from getting stolen while he sleeps on the footpath!
The photo was taken a few days back by Reaz Ahmed Suman and published in a local newspaper.
The street is almost empty. No traffic police could be found there.
The Rickshaw puller happens to be a lucky one.

Maybe, he is just resting his eyes!

At least he is protecting himself from the pesky mosquitoes. A couple of days ago saw a group of people in Center City bundled up sleeping on the sidewalk in the bitter cold weather. Really sad.

Koffla,
I have seen both at home and abroad homeless people sleep in various places in a city that includes sidewalks too, but I have not seen anyone sleeping under such a clean mosquito net as this person on a city footpath in the daytime. I also feel sorry for the homeless people of the world like you do. Thanks for your thoughtful comments. Stay happy always.

Around where I live people ae seen sleeping on the street all the time. It is a hopeless situation. We have a new mayor and it is one of his agendas to deal with homeless. It is just a never ending battle it seems to me and around the world as well.

Winter eliminates our mosquito problems.

Shartaun,
You are correct about the homeless people of the world. Their numbers are going up very rapidly now everywhere. The current worldwide recession is likely to create more homeless. Yes, the battle seems never-ending all over the world! Take Care, and Have a Merry Christmas in advance.

Darter, do they not swarm back when spring arrives in your region? The mosquitos will never go extinct! Be safe, and have a merry Christmas in advance.

The sleeping guy looks really nice and cozy and well protected from the mosquitos. No matter where you go in the world you see homeless people living rough. God knows we have our fair share of them here in Ireland. It's shocking and very sad to see so many people without a home.

Maudie, true, there is no place in the world where homeless people are not seen and do not live rough as mentioned by you. Antarctica could be a region where homeless people may not be found. I may be wrong since I had never been there.
I feel so sad when I see these people living such wretched lives! Merry Christmas in advance, dear Maudie. Be safe.

Archer,
The Tiger mosquito is a native of Asia. France ruled Indochina once upon a time. Wonder, how could these mosquitoes have gone to France? Maybe these insects liked the French rulers! You are right. Tiger mosquitos can transmit viruses such as dengue, chikungunya, and Zika to humans.
I am glad to learn that the big bump over your right eye does not bother you. But was it not painful when bitten by the tiger mosquito?
Take Care. Be safe always. Merry Christmas in advance.
