LOL Maisie & we find loads of products: made in the U.S.A. but we consume them daily... so you're safe with Canadian made products...but no doubt you knew already!! FYI Soy Lecithin is an emulsifier, a food additive used in many food products as a stabilizing agent. I do know that products coming from the US that contain Lecithin, simply say 'Lecithin, however, I believe they are all mostly soy based. At least they were in the industry I worked for. As for Chicory Fiber Syrup, that's something I hadn't heard of but I will mention it to a very good friend of who is a food scientist (I knew in the industry). I do know that Chicory is often used as a coffee flavored substance. No doubt you didn't care to know all this info, but I wanted to thank you so much for my daily laugh!!

The Molsons are prominent Canadian family of a conservative bent. You must have voted Gore for some other reason.

Extending your logic that eating a healthier snack-bar may lead to a Democratic vote, eating an unhealthy, high sugar,high fat, high chemical content candy bar may contribute to voting Republican........This actually holds more truth than you may have intended. The Red States in the US have a higher obesity rate than blue states. They have higher rates of Diabetes, more entrenched poverty, a less healthy diet, and fewer people with comprehensive Health Care all contribute to the high Diabetes rates........So it might be true Maisie.......The risk of making healthy choices is a real risk for voting Democrat.
