It's all politics, isn't it? It depends on which side of the aisle the person sits on, and which side of the aisle the idea comes from, whether it gets supported or not.
Remember the shovel ready jobs, rebates, etc. from Obama? She was all for that, wasn't she? One thing I have noticed is that the Democrats seem to idolize and stand behind the others in their party..... right or wrong. The Republicans will eat their own!
It does really get my goat that those like Pelosi have absolutely no idea what $40 a week or a bonus check of $1000 can mean to a family.

It's called greasing the skids.. or the skids on grease.. take your choice.

You see the problem is this tax cut is not a one time deal...The billions of dollars is coming in EVERY year to those companies..Are they going to give pay raises and bonuses every year to their employees...?

The thing about the tax cuts is you can throw in the dirt... but it comes out in the wash.

I heard the IRS came out with a new withholding schedule, since there are NO MORE EXEMPTION.....withholding will have to follow a different kind of schedule.
they said...90% of the people will see more money in their paycheck with the new withholding schedule.....

It plays to the stupid people...who don't understand the dirt will come out in the wash in 2019..... Again they are trying to grease the skids......that is until they have to run it over rocks.

Whoever wrote the art of the deal should be asking Trump why he would sign a bill giving away billions to corporate America WITH NO REQUIREMENTS regarding jobs in the USA, job training, job outsourcing???? Some freaken deal!

Bonuses are a one time cheap way to respond to billions in tax cuts. Looks good but does absolutely nothing in the big picture.

Regarding the wall .. maybe Dems don't want to fund it because Mexico is paying for it.

Yes... but it's not a windfall. could have been twice as good if the didn't eliminate exemptions.. why did they do that?

It's one of those we need to look good now....and later, well, we'll worry about later..later. We can always blame later on the Democrats.

So you understand how the IRS works...
If your deduction is not substantiated with a proper form, or an incorrect amount.. we do not deny. but request the proper documentation.. And/or. adjust it to the proper amount.
If you deduction appears fraudulent.. we usually pay it... and send it to Criminal Investigation.. most of those involve schemes. of tax preparers. It's an irony with IRS.. but they won't do anything until you cash the check. A disallowance letter is a good thing for the taxpayer to get...
I don't get my jollies sending out those " your deduction has been disallowed " letters. I get my jollies paying them and sending them to criminal.

"Worried about your job, JC? You tax preparation vultures have been sucking our blood long enough. Liszt"

Your stupidity is only matched by your laziness..
Now, I'm not a tax preparer...
The amount of employees at the IRS.. Is more a factor of the complicated tax forms.. that tax payers don't understand.. and the biggest one... IS refundable credits.. Refundable credits cause more than a third increase in filings, and more than a double increase in fraud.

The tax cuts will cause a need for increase employees at the IRS.,
First what they say is uncomplicated things .. will just complicate them.
Second, new form mean new employees. Third, people are going to complain like heck, come 2019.

Hate to break it to you but people don't give back bonus checks and people don't encourage others to do so. But nice try changing the target.

Once again, Trump signed a bill that provides billions in tax cuts for the same US based Multi-National Corporations that fired US Labor. He could have held out for SOMETHING ANYTHING that directly benefits US Labor, job training in the US, the outsourcing situation and the US Economy. You know the things a President who gives a shit would do. He didn't want to because those things don't benefit Donald Trump the globalist.

And BTW "We The People" decided in 2016 that Mexico would provide a great wall free of charge. And now you want to pay for it. What!!?? Congress, Obama, Clinton, Schumer and 23 other Democratic senators voted in favor of the Secure Borders act in 2006 are out .. Trump's in now. That's all you need to know about that.

First off, my reference to US Labor includes everybody who works in the USA. My post clearly has nothing to with labor unions. So again nice try changing the target. And when Trump blubbered out his campaign trail lies he didn't distinguish between union and non union jobs either.

So tell me what's wrong with tax breaks that have conditions attached?CONDITIONS THAT BENEFIT THE USA AND WORKERS IN THE USA RIGHT NOW..as opposed to maybe later sometime down the road something good might happen? Lets hear it. .

And as you say "The Federal Government has a few hundred jobs training programs, most of which overlap". Here's a thought, employers need to pay for that! That's not my responsibility! I'm for small government.

It's the worst deal I've ever seen!

Forgotten men and women? Who forgot about them Rush Limbaugh. Since you can't stop talking about Obama, Obama tried to give them healthcare. You said no.

And if your 11 million more on food stamps and 3,000.00 reduced median income is in reference to the end of the building boom, (or what is commonly known as the George W Bush recession) there aren't many industries that didn't lay off massive numbers of workers because of it. What's your answer to that .. keep on building stuff people aren't going to buy?

And you say "The benefits of this tax reform package will help more people than Obama even thought about". We'll see about that very soon.

Regarding nonsensical ramblings .. dude you should really stick to cut and paste.

I didn't blame Bush in my post, that would be off topic. It's called the Bush recession because it happened on his watch.

So again what's wrong with corporate tax breaks with conditions? People get tax breaks for many things .. children for example. But the condition is that you have to have children.
