The House passed it. The Senate requires 60 votes. There are not 60 Republicans in the Senate. Why does this confuse you and the rest of the grubers?

I find this interesting.. I have a question.. You seems to know what 's going on. In the deal making here.. What is Trump compromising on?... You can lie an try to name something, but the fact is, Trump is compromising on NOTHING. There is no compromise. There is no compromise on DACA, on CHIPS, as there has not been compromise on tax cuts, or healthcare or regulations... As there will be no compromise on spending, entitlements, military, social security and medicare, medicaid. You can deny it. say it not true..... but the fact is...you like it, you want it, it's why you support Trump.. It's what you do. NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER...You love it.. just admit it.. you don't want to see compromise. Trump's battle about compromise is not with Democrats.. It's with Republicans, and it pisses him off,. like it pisses you off .. that SOME Republicans want to compromise. It's one of his test of "loyalty".. just like it is yours.....Too many Republican won't go along with his "art of the deal" and his game.. that lack of honor and integrity.. That would be, to not compromise, but get the other guy to compromise...... Get the other guy to compromise his integrity, and his honor.. What's amusing about it.. is that for the last five years or so.. I have tried to open the door for OUR compromise.. but you have refused to compromise. I have condemned some Liberal actions...supported some Conservative issues, but you haven't budge an inch...Because that is not in your DNA, as it not in Trump's DNA. Is it any wonder.. why you can't see it. It's why there will be my "shutdown" of YOU That's what this shutdown is about.... That' why it's "Trumps shutdown". And even though, you won't admit it.. It's your shutdown too.

That not true... DACA is not a negotiating instrument...It's a done deal...What is Trump giving on DACA.. except the threat to de-legitimize them.. He can't do it.. He cant do it. He's not negotiating anything. You may think he can.. but he can't. He can't do it because 80% of the country doesn't want him to do it, he cant do it, because. The courts won't let him do it, he can't do it because most of the entire congress won't let him do it At his stage there is only one issue about DACA's and that is citizenship..how to go about citizenship... Well Democrats don't need that NOW.. they will be able to get whatever they want in 2020. Democrats only concern is what's going to happen to DACA before 2020.. The stupidity of Republican is the need to end DACA now, so it can't continue, don't let in four more years of DACA recipients. Don't let illegal immigrant bring their kids into this country to become more DACA.. End it NOW.

well, I agree except for the fact. all the things you think democrats aren't offering .. as a compromise....they are. We have discussed procedural issues of Congress when Obama was president. Those procedural issues were that Harry Reid. would not bring to floor, Those issues Republican wanted to discuss, compromise and vote on This is same thing , except the suits have changed.. this is not about what would happen if DACA would be brought to floor...It would be a done deal. But this President, and Republican Congress.. Don't want to bring it to floor, on any terms but their own... It's purposely being delayed.. Most issues with this president are being purposely delayed. Until it suits him....and that is what the shutdown is all about "and stonewall funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program simply to get a win on DACA, when they could easily negotiate the DACA matter separately from the continuing resolution." DanDee... This is not true. ChIps is a Liberal program, there is no "win" with DACA, and Democrats can't easily negotiate DACA.. because the president and McConnel wont let it come to the floor, without leveraging it. Pretending they have leverage, when their only leverage.... is to let it come to the floor. I don't know if you saw this.. but Claire Macaskill, MO Dem, brought a resolution last night to stand alone.. It was to fund the military.....It would have passed. but McConnel vetoed it. Why? The items in the bill have been agreed to already. Talking about what's in the bill means nothing... Democratic and Republicans who vote against it did for only one reason.. It was a CONTINUING RESOLUTION. That's why, it was voted against No more not doing your job.. and instead doing continuing resolutions. No more.

Again.. That's okay.. What I am challenging is that everything they talk about, both sides, is not about the specifics. Some Republicans voted against the bill.. why......not because of the items in it, but because it was a continuing resolution.. the fourth straight.. It's not the way our government is suppose to work. The military says it hurts them to operate on continuing resolution, yet we continue to do it. Yet, they say those who oppose continuing resolutions are against the military? From The Democrat standpoint it not about what going to happen with DACA. It's about bringing DACA to the floor.. Paul Ryan, McConnel, and the President... refuse to bring it to the floor. Whatever is agreed upon.. They will not have it put to a vote. Until they can justify it, with something else. What do you think the CHIPS thing is all about...It's plain as day...It was going to pass whenever they brought it up, but they waited...To included with a continuing resolution.. They did that not to get Democrats to vote against CHIP, but to vote FOR the continuing resolution. CHIPs like DACA is going to pass, but they refuse to bring it to floor until they can get something for it. They say Democrats are blackmailing the government.. maybe so about specifics. But the truth is the Republicans are blackmailing Democrats, not about specifcs, but through the process. How can you believe a President who says, it needs to be a bi partisan "love bill". Then says The Democrats are responsible for all the illegal immigrant criminals.. It doesn't make any sense. Here's a question for you....Who in the Republican Party... Do republicans distrust the most...... Well, my answer would be.. Anybody who Democrats think they can work with. Think about it.....Who do Democrats trust in the Republican party.. that YOU trust?. Our government can't operate that way....It's authoritarian, fascist, communist..BUT not a democracy.

Okay .. let's have a poll.. I would really like to know... Name a senator from your opposing party who you trust? Let me give you my list of Republican senators I trust.. Collins McCain Graham Ayotte Flake Fischer Thune Sullivan Sasse Portman. Now i didn't say agree with ideologically, on issues.. I mean trust to be honest, and Trust they will do whatever they think is the right thing. I know I wont get any response from Republican here.. because I believe they trust no one, on the Democrat side. Please prove me wrong...

You go ahead.. upbraid me all you want. You just can't shake the idea.. that maise and some Liberal women here are my targets..Why do you think that? because, I respond to them? Why can't you shake that idea....when the idea itself is sexist, and your inability to reason it through, means you don't need a reason...It reveals your mindset. Couple that with your treatment of women here..and it apparent you're the one who's got the problem.. In a site where gender is Suppose to be important... the conversations in the last five years or so., has made me numb to gender. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but, I now see this place as genderless...Being married should mean ..you are the one, who should threat this site more genderless. The irony , of course , is you don't. I'm single, you're married, but the mindset we have is just the opposite.

Let me give you some insight to me as a person... For most of my life.. I have not been able to make "the moves " on women. I just don't do it.. I don't know if it's a fear of rejection, or my view of my own lack of power, but it's what I have done and continue to do. Even though, I had to try to overcome, a societal idea.. that i'm less of a man becaseu of it. . When, now it becomes evident that... that societal idea.. has finally resulted in the current problem of man's abuse of women.. So maybe, I was on the right side all along, even though I didn't think so at the time... I imagine you have different view of it, and as such, a different view of women. So I can only conclude, you try and put your own view into me..It's just not true. Reject this idea if you want.. but anybody with any sense would realize, I have no ulterior motives in saying it.
