Definitely ready, ever since I accepted the ticket to my destination. I've heard it said to live each day as if it were the last, but plan for the future like you will live forever.
I think perhaps we all look around us and think we aren't ready to leave our family and friends, but it is true that each and every one of us will leave this earth some day. I wonder how each of us will be remembered?

Waiting in line to die?.......That's a really sad metaphor......I'm sure not waiting in any line.......I'm dancing, walking, twirling, swinging, skipping through and around this amazing, exciting, exquisite world.........Why would you stand in line?......how utterly boring and useless...

That's because we women will fly off on our brooms when it's time!

Lulu, the "waiting in line" is just metaphorically speaking. But you know that! LOL.
We are just aware that even while living, dancing, twirling, skipping or whatever..... there is an end on this earth awaiting all of us.
When I turned 50, I thought to myself, "My life is half over". Then I looked back on how long those decades had been, and how much I had done in that time..... and then looked ahead and knew I had a whole lot of living to do yet!

Look at the picture again. You'll notice it is basically the same 4 or 5 "people" represented again and again. You can see clearly that one of the individuals appears to be sporting an AFRO, the same person (with the hat) over and over again.

But "all white men wearing the same uniforms..." looks to be an easy way for the artist to present his vision. Only YOU would make it about President Trump.

You gotta admit, It's a terrible visual........an ugly metaphor.....Who sees themselves lined up, waiting to die?......Good Grief.......

I understood it and the spirit in which it was given. Pity you got nitpickers fault finding it.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

It is a mystery what our higher selves are doing when it time to fly over to the other side. Fossil post a blog with a rock and some folks debated that. A metaphor by any other name is delivering the same message. Great Post ET
