WINTER PHOTOS AND A GAME .......

There's something really magical and beautiful about a white winter, with the thick blanket of snow rest on top of the world like the topping of a cake, making everything a little nicer. Enjoy these beautiful winter shots, of places both white and blue, the colors of a beautiful winter scene.
It is an absolute hardship to dig out one's car right away. Most of the time the owner digs out the wrong car!!!
This game is called " Find your car!" during this such period.
Thanks for reading.
Lisa.

Amazing shots! Unfortunately, we would never come across such white winters in our respective countries ever!!

Looklook hello,

Thanks so much for your visit and your nice comments. Glad reading from you too. Though it doesn't snow in my country but I have experienced this typical weather during my winter stay in Switzerland, Canada, Boston Mass. in USA and England too. I had really enjoyed the heavy snow there during those times and I liked it so much.
Thanks again for your visit.
Best wishes.
Lisa.

Hi MARI,

It's such a great pleasure reading from you again on my blog. Thank you so much. You are always welcome. I wanted to share these pics with my readers as a few of them are from Switzerland which I have visited so very many times, whether in summer and in winter. I like Zermatt very much. I've really enjoyed my stay there.
Hope reading from you again MARI.
My best wishes to you too.
Lisa.

Many years ago I lived in northeast Ohio. ONE DAY we had 29 inches of snow. It started overnight and we woke up to about a foot of the white stuff. I measured it every hour and it had deepend 1 to 1 1/2 inches by the next time I measured. We lived by the onramp of the freeway and as far up as you could see, was snow...lots of snow. There was a semi truck and a car stuck in a snowbank at the edge of the roadway, otherwise just snow!

A few days later I was driving in the next town and had gone by a small strip mall. Snow had been plowed and plowed to the edge of the parking lot.

About 3 weeks later the snow had thawed enough to partially uncover a car underneath the snow!

Frantically they dug it out thinking someone was in the car! When they finally got it uncovered to discover a For Sale sign in the window. Whew! It was only parked.

Hi Gasi,

What a surprise visit of yours but I am pleased reading from you again and thank you for your stopping by, leaving nice comments as usual.
I do enjoy the blanket of snow in those countries really. I has several times experienced this in different countries too, during winter time.
I liked that of Switzerland, Canada, Boston, Mass and England too. It was so much fun really. I remember getting snow up to my waist one time in Zermatt, Switzerland, I thought I was drowning in it too!!, but yet I could get out safely.
Thanks again for your visit Gasi, hope reading from you again.
My kind regards to you and family.
Lisa.

Beautiful pictures, Beth. I found the second one on internet, and made a montage with a picture of me. But actually, I wouldn't like to be there for more than 15 minutes. Just seeing these landscapes, I feel very cold.
We have 24°C at this time. Next month will be higher.
Greetings from this tropical country.

Billguy hello,

It's a great pleasure reading from you again. Your visit and comments are always welcome and I thank you so much for them.
Thanks also for your kind appreciation of my blog and the pics as well. I wish you to get some snow before the end of winter so as to feel the real winter effects and for the irrigation as you've mentioned above. Here in my country, we are in summer now, enjoying the sunshine, the beach and the luck warm water of the sea. Hope reading from you again and always.
Very many thanks Billguy, I wish you all the best.
Lisa.
