WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SEPTUPLETS RECORD?

A set of septuplets were born to a couple who underwent fertility treatment in 1997. The couple discovered afterwards that the wife was carrying 7 babies but they declined selective reduction to reduce the number of infants, saying that they would "put it in God's hands". Though the couple has already a first .

The doctor's sense of wonder was tempered with serious concern. Multiple pregnancies frequently end in miscarriage or stillbirth and the risk multiplies with the number of fetuses. While septuplets have been delivered a handful of times, in no case have they all lived more than a few days or weeks. in such a situation: they could, if they chose, undergo "selective reduction", but the couple had refused abortion. Not only did the septuplets emerge from their mother's womb intact but they were healthier than anyone had dared hope. "It just strikes as a miracle." with 4 sons and 3 daughters. It had become the focus of intense international attention. The birth attracted significant media attention, both positive and negative, The achieved international headlines after they were born in 1997, with some criticizing their parents for refusing selective reduction .

The Doctors were worried they wouldn't survive their first few days out of the womb when they were famously brought into the world in 1997. But not only did the septuplets make it, they flourished, and have celebrated their 18th birthday last year and transition into life after high school.

Kenny, Kelsey, Natalie, Brandon, Alexis, Nathan and Joel - the world's first septuplets to survive infancy - had marked the milestone occasion on Thursday, November 19. 2015. They have set the world record of septuplets being still all alive. Wishing a long happy life. Photos posted below.

I hope this story has pleased you, I would like to get your thoughts on such event. Thank you for your read and views. I wish you a peaceful and happy week.
Sincerely,
Lisa.

8 is enough? Only 2 birthdays to worry about and no more need to go through the motions of getting pregnant!

Am glad reading from you for the first time here, on my blog. Thank you for your visit and your comments which are appreciated for sure.
It's then an opportunity for the parents, to celebrate only 2 birthdays as well. But do not forget the number of kids also and the number of gifts to offer too!!. However, as long as they are happy with all that contingent , that's ok for them. And surely no need to look for more eventually. Thank you again and I hope reading from you in the fuutre Needtwoplease.
I wish you a pleasant day.

MrsJoe dear, hi,

You should be certain of my happiness reading from you always on my blog. You are so right about you views MrsJoe. But it seemed that they had tried to get another companion for thei first daughter but it was unsuccessful, so they had try the fertility program and the mother could get pregnant but.... with 8 babies, that was really too many!!. And they had refused any abortion as well. I agree for that too, MrsJoe. As they said, they have left it in God's hands to decide. Am happy for them that all of the babies have successfully live and grown up until adulthood.
Thanks for your opinion MrsJoe, am grateful to you.
Have a joyful day as well as MrJoe.
Kind regards.
Lisa.

Earthytaurus dear, hi,

ET dear, I guess you were more beautiful when you were at their actual age. Anyhow, it's not the beauty which only matters but what we all house in our hearts and how we have been grown up too. I appreciate your input here. I warmly thank you for your kind visit and your nice comments ET, I wish you all my best.

Interesting story and lovely pictures. It must have been such hard work when they were babies and toddlers. So cute though.

Lulugravy, hi,

I am so delighted reading from you on this blog of mine. I greatly thank you for your visit and you meaningful comments. I agree with you on the points you've mentioned above. It's true, we can't know exactly how these kids have been feeling and missing during their childhood. But fair enough, they have reached their maturity now and can do on their own. Frankly speaking, I wouldn't be able to bear that many at a time or even consecutively. I wonder how these parents could cope with all of them. Thank you for your opinion left on here Lulu.
I hope reading from you again in the future. I wish you and all of yours a pleasant day.
Kind regards,
Lisa.

Dear Karin, hi,

Thank you heartily for your visit and thoughtful comments Karin. I totally agree with you. As we know, to have so many kids at a time, isn't easy to properly look after, I wonder how those parents could it.
Though they've got aids from the Gov for the up bringing of those kids. But more was needed from their parents surely. An happy that they have grown up now and can manage on their own.
Thanks once more Karin for your input. Have a lovely day.
Lisa.
