INCREDIBLE BUT YET TRUE...

This is a true heartbreaking story which had happened in Paraiba, north east of Brazil. It’s not just humans who feel pain, animals do too. And one has proved this after he was caught appearing to cry at his owners funeral. Mr Wagner de Lima Figueiredo 34 years, died in a motorcycle accident on New Year’s Day after losing control of his bike while riding along a beach front in the city. He was rushed to hospital and underwent two critical operations but died from his injuries.

The semi-professional cowboy performed in rodeo shows for eight years with Sereno, his , winning dozens of tournaments and cash prizes. He also worked as a local authority clerk. This was everything to Wagner. Grieving friends and family attended his funeral.. “When we brought the coffin out at the beginning of the funeral, Sereno sounded like he was crying and as if he recognised that his owner was finally leaving him. "We were shocked when Sereno, laid its head on the coffin, whined, sighed and neighed, as it appeared to bid him an emotional goodbye, a very heartbreaking moment. This was the moment that showed a remarkable sense of loss and grievance for its owner. All the way to the cemetery he pounded the ground with his hooves and kept on whinnying, It was very sad to see.

" Sereno was taken to the funeral by Wagner’s brother, Wando de Lima, as he knew the pair had a very close relationship. Wagner loved that , and so it was important to his family that Sereno be there to say goodbye. The funeral, which took place on 3 January in Paraiba, has left Sereno heartbroken. A close friend of the family, Francielio Limiera, added: ‘It was unbelievable to see the way the behaved. If I hadn’t been there I wouldn’t have believed it myself. “Wagner’s life was this . “He had a passion and a great love for him. Sometimes he would even stop buying things for himself to make sure he could afford to buy feed.” He added that many people had offered to buy the white stallion but “Wagner always refused to sell him.” With the death of his brother, Mr de Lima vowed to take on the responsibility of maintaining and caring for Sereno, in memory of his brother, Wagner.
According to Marcelo Servos, a veterinarian with the Brazilian Riding Federation, who has been caring for horses for 20 years, a can be aware of and mourn a loved one’s death.

I have hereby shared this story and the related photos for all of you. It has touched the hearts of millions of people worldwide just as it has touched mine. I hope this story has pleased you, it proves us how an animal can have an emotional love and feelings, just as us or more than some human beings. Thank you for your read and views. Have a nice incoming week.
Lisa,

I wonder if Sereno (the horse) would ever feel again the same happiness as it was with his owner, Mr Wagner. Pitiful really.

Definitely, animals have emotions and feel grief.
My grandmother had a little Chihuahua that she handfed all the time. It was her constant companion.
When my grandmother went into the hospital for surgery, the little dog refused to eat for anyone else. She just walked the floor, going to look at the door, or lay in her bed. She died on the day my grandmother finally came home from the hospital.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Deborah dear Lady, hi,

Your first above post definitely proves the love of an animal for its owner, I have experienced it when my daughter went to France for her university studies, her own dog was so sad for not seeing her daily as usual before. He used to go around and around searching for my daughter, entered the house and went straight to my daughter's bedroom and when she come on holidays here, her dog is so happy to see her, he licks her hands, her legs even her face, he doesn't leave her at all. It's stunning to see this really. Thank you dear Deborah for your input. Am always happy reading you on my blogs. I wish you all my best, keep well and happy.
Lisa.

Deborah, hi again dear,

Thank you so much for appreciating my above blog, I felt it a must to post this story just to prove how such an animal, that cannot talk like us but it can show his real love, emotion and devotion to its owner specially on his last day on earth. I had tears in my eyes when I read this story and see these pictures. I hope Mr Wagner's brother would treat Sereno with care and love as much as he can BUT the love that existed between Sereno and its owner, would never ever be the same for anyone else. Thank you once more Deborah. I wish you a pleasant day, with my warm regards,
Lisa,

Kurtis, hi again,

Thank you for approving the opinion of Deborah, which I have also done. It is what we feel and understand when we've experienced such love from our pets. It's a wonderful and reciprocal love as well. Enjoy a good day Kurtis.

MrsJoe dear Lady, hi,

We as above, have experienced such emotion and love from pets, and I believe others have done as well. The love of an animal may be more sincere than a human's love at times. At least, our pets show us how much they want to be with us all the time, how much every moment with us, they lovingly spend it peacefully, emotionally and faithfully. Though they cannot talk to us but they do show it to us in their own way, which sometime a human being doesn't do or care even. I appreciate the above facts you have related concerning your g/mother MrsJoe, this was another proof as well. Thanks again dear Lady, have a blessed day and greeting to MrJoe.

Hi Lisa: I think animals feel physical and emotional pain the same as humans. When my first husband and I separated I moved out of our house to an apartment and couldn't take my two dogs with me. One dog started losing clumps of his fur, then within a couple of weeks all his fur fell out. I hope that sweet horse will be o.k.

Bijou hi dear, [/B]

Always great reading from you on my blogs. Thank you for your visit and your nice comments. Yes dear, you are so right, animals do have their own feeling and love which they can show in their own way. Once they are attached to you and love you, they can do anything to prove it to you. I have myself, experienced this many times really. What a deep love that horse showed for its owner, really unbelievable. I wish and hope it will be ok and cared for with its owner's brother. But yet he will still feel the pain and grief for its real owner, though he cannot express it as we do being humans.
Thank you again Bijou. Have a great day, Kind regards,
Lisa,

Kurtis hi,

I know how the dogs act when they don't see their owner or when having the feelings that their owners aren't home or ill. They have a sixth sense as it is said. Am glad that you are well now, take care of your health and be happy.
Kind rgards,
Lisa,
