Well I am a fan of Jimmy Kimmel. It is all late night humor to me and I enjoy his shows. When Jay Leno was a late night host I enjoyed his shows too. I guess it is a matter of how we view these shows. To me it is strictly entertainment and we overlook their flaws.

Kimmel isn't concerned about health-care coverage for his own son......obviously, he has plenty of money.....His concern is with those children and their families who can't afford the price of health care.......How are you not getting that? Why are the Repubs pushing this thing through in such a hurry?.......US health-care costs more than in any other country......with much worse outcomes. Why?.......When every other developed country can do it, why can't the US?......Why are medical prices so inflated?.........Why is illness the top reason for bankruptcy in the US?.........early diagnosis is crucial, but many can't afford regular check-ups.......people are malnourished in order to pay for asthma drugs so their child can go to school.. All over the US, people are suffering and afraid because they can't afford health care.........yet here comes another insane bill to get the bum's rush through the Senate......because in the US, everything associated with medical care is profit-based. There are lobbyists, as we speak, paying huge sums to politicians. There is the Private Insurance industry, the medical/hospital supply companies, the Pharmaceutical companies.........All those powerful Lobbies vying for the attention of Politicians who need to keep their private jets fuelled and pay their yacht crews to keep their champagne flutes charged..........But it's all about freedom, right?....a twisted, corruption of freedom.

After graduation, he became a civil rights attorney and professor, and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. Obama represented the 13th District for three terms in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004, when he ran for the U.S. Senate. .........Trump, on the other hand, didn't get a post-graduate degree......all he got was Bachelor degree..........He certainly didn't study the Constitution and never held government office on the state level before he ran for Pres............

Give the 30% a rest, will you? His approval rating is at 43% now, but you don't know how change your narrative when facts change. I don't give a crap about polling, and neither should you. Although I know you were believing the polls that showed Hillary was a shoo-in. But you still trust polls, of course, because you think they make Trump look bad. . And you still trust the ones that make him look "good"! Why is your 43% more trustworthy than any other? Actually Trump's approval latest rating put's him at 38%...till his next big boob.

My comment was in response to JKH's claim that no one remembered even seeing Obama at Harvard, implying that he wasn't there.........So you're saying that becoming president of the Harvard Law Review by popular election isn't proof he was there?.........

A little digging eh?.......Well, you could start your digging by finding out what the role and responsibilities of the editor of a law review are. Editors edit, they don't generally do the writing. Obama won out over 18 others for the position and he did a good job according to everyone there. Strange that you don't know what editors do. As for his years teaching, he was a "guest lecturer and taught three courses a year......At least Trump created jobs......yes, and often failed to pay the workers and the companies.......How many small companies did he bankrupt by refusing to pay for services rendered and when they sued, his team of lawyers managed to delay the court dates until the companies went under..........What a great guy!!!!...

The university magazine Columbia College Today profiled him as far back as 2005, after he was elected to the U.S. Senate. Last year, the New York Times wrote about Phil Boerner, who roomed with the future president during his first year at Columbia. The article included excerpts from the Columbia student directory, showing Obama living during his junior year at 142 West 109th Street near Columbia’s campus in New York City, and during his senior year at 339 East 94th Street. Boerner recalled that Obama sometimes wrapped himself in a sleeping bag to keep warm in the chilly apartment they shared, and that some nights he would cook chicken curry for dinner. Yes, isn't it amazing that no women came forward to accuse President Obama of grabbing them? Hmmm no scandals to speak of? Guess Obama wasn't notorious enough to make everyone remember him. How many people from your college would recall you? Unless I dug out a few friends/acquaintances that I partied with or roomed with I doubt anyone in my college or any of my classmates would recall me. Seems Trump has more "moments", not necessarily good ones, to be remembered by.

What of Trump's academic records? Have you no question on why he didn't release them? You don't appear to question anything Trump. Trump has never released his academic records, nor his tax returns. Trump actually lied about graduating at the top of his class. "In 1984, William Geist reported that "the commencement program from 1968 does not list him as graduating with honors of any kind," even though "just about every profile ever written about Mr. Trump states that he graduated first in his class at Wharton in 1968."
