Beethoven was glad to come visit the manger. He was just celebrating the birth  The tree is beautiful .

Poor Joseph, perpetually displaced. First by God, then by Gabriel and now by Beethoven.

You've gotta admit, Joseph got a bad bargain. God ra*ped his fiancee and set up a situation in which they were both seen as adulterers by their families and community and then, he had to bring up and financially care for a child that he didn't make.......didn't even get the pleasure of having se*x..and then History lied about the child's ancestry, saying he was of David's line from Joseph when Joseph knew darn well that he hadn't fathered him. Joseph got little mention, the Bible says virtually nothing about him. And the nativity plays.....2,500 years of Joseph just standing there....usually holding a big stick, just so he could look like he was doing something.....Joseph never has any lines....just stands there, over to the side.....Even the visiting dignitaries get more mentions along with the contents of their gifts.....and the lowly shepherds even have something to do....but not Joseph......nope, he is just a shadow character in the whole enterprise...He never gets mentioned again..........And now he's replaced by Beethoven........Poor Joseph.....You say my heart is dark, but I'm the one who cares about poor Joseph whose life was torn asunder by an invisible, magical being that *ed his girl friend. If it happened today, both God and Gabriel would resign or be fired for sexual assault.......
