That was an amazing sight, I have never seen so many before or since and we pass the spot often.

The landscapes are similar to the ones here in dry season. The vultures roam where there is a dead animal or bad odor. I don't like dry season. In some places it seems a dead nature.

Interesting shots Abelle, I see what you mean by spooky hanging out at a stagnant waterhole and dead trees. We don't have vultures in Australia but very much love watching raptors ride the hot thermal currents in the outback. Thanks :- )

It could be they are having a meeting. The bird on the top left of the first photo seems to be chairing the meeting.
