I guess we will know more about what Irma has in store for us, when we awaken tomorrow. Latest forecasts seem to imply it isn't going to treat us too badly. I hope they are right with them.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

I talked to my son who is in Atlanta. That twit Irma has been reduced to a tropical storm. The power is out but they were expecting that. Once it comes back on - the Georgia Tradition is a French Toast Party. It works well in West Virginia too.

As soon as we saw the projected path, I began to pray for Alfie and your safety too...... along with others in the path of that nasty storm.
In addition to bringing in those plants, I think it might be safer to let Alfie come in out of the shed..... at least until the danger is passed! Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The running Joke in Georgia is that whenever there is a forecast of a storm, hurricane or freeze - folks will load their grocery carts with milk, eggs, and bread. Those of us who have worked retail see this in all the states. Perhaps because they have short shelve lives thus more sensitive to supply line interruptions. They are also the key ingredients for French Toast - since the evidence is empty grocery shelves with regularity right before a storm - It must be that everyone is having a French Toast Party.
