Over my nearly ten year history of owning and running a metro one city and 8 town geographic area ambulance service, I had the very sad responsibility of having to transport countless mentally disturbed and ill people that were deemed to be a real Danger to Themselves as well as the General public!. Those very sad and tragic situations were mandated by both qualified trained doctors along with a chief or deputy chief of police signing such Emergency Commitment Orders I would be handed. At such time I was deputiized and thus given the full control of both the care and custody over those sadly ill people ! With no emergency sirens used in order to keep things as calm and collective as possible, I engaged those people in a wide variety of different conversations. These lasting at least 25 minutes in duration. Some broke my heart with such sadness when talking about family and their past lives no longer existent. Others seemed to come from the Twilight Zone making no sense at all in what they had to say and believed what was happening in their taxed and very effected mindsets! How glad I always felt when the usually 90 minute lasting procedure to bring then in and lay on my cot while a long interview had to be conducted.by three different state hospital clinical staff. Once approved, I was finally granted the express right to have them removed from my cot and hand over that custody!. In viewing the above mentioned Parties Ravings and Rants in the form of up to ten blogs a day in here, I again feel very saddened that a Life designed to be productive and enjoyable has lost the Mental Capacity to function anywheres near a normal. Please know that sadly Acceptance has to exist when all hope for recovery is totally lost! Of the full gauntlet of negative emotions, HATE IS BY FAR THE WORSE AND MOST DANGEROUS ALSO. At least she is not incarcerated in some padded cell full of isolation living in robot form and treated like a six year old. I am thankful she has a degree of freedom and a self claimed alter in which to preach and convey those inner feelings of hers that strongly need to be vented. With understanding comes a form of pity that can't really be avoided or denied. Enough said!

SOMETIMES I WONDER IF THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE AIR OF NORTH AND SOUTH DAKOTA THAT HAS A NEGATIVE INFLUENCE ON THEIR INHABITANTS. HAS ANY SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATION EVER CONDUCTED SUCH A STUDY?
