On The Road..... I just talked to Alfie (hawkslayer) and he said he just turned toward Hopkinsville, KY so is roughly 2 1/2 to 3 hours away from here. He will be here for Easter. He doesn't know it yet but...I made the Decadent Peanut butter Pie! I tasted the filling and oh man!!!! Wow! With the cookie/nuts crust and the topping of chocolate, melted hot fudge sauce and melted peanut butter, then topped with chopped nuts!!! I figure it is probably 5,000 calories per slice. haha Did I say WOW??!! Decadent is the proper word for this. Mary Jane will be pleased. I told him I would make the pie for Easter but decided to do it earlier and have it as a surprise after driving about 10 hours. The roast is cooking, will have mashed potatoes and vegetables of some kind. It smells so good in here! Going to go read, nap, whatever...everything else is done. |

 Ann,You are such a sweetheart, sounds yummy good!! Alfie is an extremely lucky man, you are such a good hearted LADY. Have a wonderful time, and eat a piece of pie for me...ignore the calories! LOL   and  ~Pam & SunshinePain & suffering are inevititable, but misery is optional.
