Again!

I know I am not the only one to notice but...I have looked off and on all day to see new blogs.

The ones on now (3:53 pm CST) are the ones I saw at 7:15 am when I got up. Some are still there from last night.

How discouraging this must be to a new member trying to post a blog. Even more so for a member that runs into this all the time.

I posted a blog yesterday, hours later it appeared briefly on the latest blogs page. It was on there for a very short time and then seemed to disappear completely. I gave up on it ever being seen again, and thought it had once again become lost in the limitless void that is SFF blogland, but only a few more hours passed before it appeared at the bottom of page two. Get that? A few more hours before it appeared again at the BOTTOM of page two. How are we supposed to get comments if the blog isn't there to be read?

Speaking for myself, I think we should organize a blog strike. WE need to all get together and not post any more blogs until the SFF staff pull their fingers out and get the problem fixed, there is a very serious problem with the SFF blogosphere.

I am very seriously considering retiring from posting blogs that no one ever gets to see. Why bother if no one is allowed to read them? A writers food and drink is a reaction from the reader, whether it be positive or negative it doesn't matter. All we want is that reaction from the reader and we aren't getting it because the readers aren't being allowed to see the blogs for long enough.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.
