Blessing in Disguise As most who know me know, I'm a pretty avid golfer. Not successful. Avid. So I did a quick inventory of the skills I initially thought would give me a good golf game. Without exception, I was wrong. The result being I've flailed at a golf ball for over 50 years with almost NO chance of being successful. But I have seen the light. I am acquiring the basic skills that I could/should have had when I was 12. The result? I'm playing the best golf of my life. I don't think I would have been this happy if I had peaked at 18. |

Good for you Sax... hey I just received this golf email today that you might enjoy: A foursome of men waited at the men's tee while a foursome of women was hitting in front of them--taking their time. When the final lady was ready to hit her ball, she hacked it 10 feet. Then she went over and missed it completely. Then she hacked it another ten feet and finally hacked it another five feet. She looked up at the patiently waiting men and said apologetically, "I guess all those F****** lessons I took over the winter didn't help." One of the men immediately responded, "Well, there you have it. You should have taken golf lessons instead!" He never even had a chance to duck. He was only 43.

I understand completely, I think we all have an area like that. I floudered for years in music, just 3 chord wonder stuff, then a light went on and I'm getting better and really enjoying it. Best of luck with your game scores. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
