The Morlphing of the Left The party of "Do your own thing" has become "do it our way and NOTHING else". The party of "Question Authority" has become "More government, PLEASE". No, thank you. Anyone who requires government to clothe, feed, shelter, heal and coddle is in some way defective. Anyone who wants to tax the entire country into poverty to make it so is not a willing participant in the Founder's Dream (read "traitor"). (Before you lefties scream about the poor folk who fit into the "coddle" category: yes, there are those who, through no fault of their own, need care. If you think a huge Central Government is the most efficient, effective way to do it, you haven't been paying attention). |

What amazes me the most is that the people who were hosed/bitten/beaten and arrested at the 1968 Chicago Dem Convention in a Dem Town, a Dem State, by a Dem Mayor are now the most rabid Marxists. I think that goes to my theory about dems and brain damage.......
