A Global "Thank You!" to USA's Unions This weekend should be a global holiday. A bunch of 3rd-world nations have take over our textile industry. The Japanese have our auto industry. Brazil is making some WONDERFUL aircraft. China - well, they are taking whatever they want. Steel is probably the biggest. Thank you, Unions! Before you knee-jerk grubers splatter this blog with worn-out union propaganda, do a little research on the net jobs created vs lost thanks to Unions. If nothing else, what industries (besides the leg-breaking-thug congolomerate) have they created? Then go crawl back under your rocks. |

The only ones who benefit from a union is the union members, not the country or the rest of the people. Years ago I took an office job where they had a union. My very first week on the job and there were complaints against me. I got called into the union office where they told me the other workers were not happy with my job performance. They told me not to type so fast or work so fast, as it was making the other office workers look bad. OMG a person can get fired for doing a good job???
