Barry's multi-prong, comprehensive strategy to defeat ISIS had to return to reality. The top military man in the ME has admitted there are only 4-5 US-trained combatants in Syria. There are about 60 total, costing about $60,000,000.

Seems like a lot of money to teach someone to drop their gun and run........

Don't know what's going on in Syria anymore....so many types of extremists plus now dictators preying on what remains of this country. Yet just heard they train now the Kurds...

Thanks for your input, Art. The Kurds would be the logical ones: they are fighters by necessity. The problem is that the Turks would just as soon bomb a Kurdish village as an ISIS camp. And we're stuck with Turkey as an "ally".

Soooooooo despite endless promises from the barry boondoggle, the Kurds are basically on their own.

Yes, unfortunately, not having voice , the right to speak own language, etc......it's a mess now in Turkey....
