The Masters Meltdown that Wasn't The newsies must be as sick of reporting election drivel as much as I am sick of hearing it. But that is no excuse to call 2 bad golf swings a "meltdown". To recap: Jordan Spieth made 2 bad swings in a row. No big deal, unless both of them go into the water. It resulted in a quadruple-bogey (4 strokes over par on that hole). Jordan lost the Masters by 3 strokes total over 4 days. And he didn't have his "A" game the whole weekend. So, if he doesn't make those 2 bad swings, he wins. If he doesn't make those 2 bad swings and has his A game for even ONE of two days on the weekend, the other golfers wonder why they bothered to show. Meltdown? Hardly. A meltdown is when the leading dem candidate is barking at a rally....... |
