Hoist With Your Own (PC) Petard

Universal Studios' "The Hunt", a so-called satire about rich libs hunting Trump voters, has been shelved. now. Saying that "the timing may not be right", Universal/NBC/MSNBC has shown a rare bit of restraint after being blasted this bit of stupidity. Perhaps it was the thought that someone might see the film and get the idea it would be fun hunt Hollywood libs.

This type of movie has been around for quite a long time. Using the political opponents as prey is a new twist. Hunting people in the woods (or in my case, the jungle), might seem like an entertaining thing for these Hollywood elites to consider as an acceptable for of entertainment. However, when the guys you are hunting are well-armed and shoot back it is a different story all together.

If the same picture had been released with blacks, Muslims or even illegals as targets the left would have come unglued. No, wait, they have already become unglued.
