Big, Warm Hugsss to your daughter and son-in-law!!!!

My daughter and her husband did "emergency" foster care.... short term, and with children from very dire circumstances. They often had the teens begging to stay with them when it came time for them to move on to permanent foster homes or back to their own. One young man still stays in contact with them and actually came to stay awhile with them after he turned 18 and was waiting for his induction into the military. The rules and regulations that CA puts on foster care is very over bearing to the point of being ridiculous, and they finally gave it up after a few years. But what a great impact good foster parents can make on a child..... even if they can't see it immediately. Your daughter and son inlaw are special people. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Hello Tanz............Your daughter not only looks like you but she has the loving heart and spirit as her mother. I am so happy that her husband knows how lucky he is to have a woman like her. I wish them well. Creative Ideas.

Tanz, fostering is so difficult because most of the time the kids leave you for another foster home or for their family. It is often heartbreaking and your family is courageous for being foster parents.
