Oh dear, it reads as though you have really been going through hell down there. Like Rosie said what you really need is a great BIG hug. Here is one coming to you from Georgia!

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Rae, you are a very strong woman and everyone would feel like you do. You need to relax, unwind and take a break. As everyone else already said, you need a hug . I bet your daughters would like to give you one ASAP. I am very glad that you're ok (most important) and that your horse and house are fine too.

Thanks Elaine, but a person can only stay strong for so long until something knocks them down again, a few more times, and I may decide to stay there. I apologize, I'm not my normal happy self at the moment. My garden has been washed away, only a handful of plants made it, so when I get my energy back, I have to replant, or no veggies this year. Fruit trees were stripped of their fruit, so no fruit this year. Ok, I'll stop whining now! Hugs to you my friend!!

On top of everything else you heave to be exhausted. Hugs and some good sleep.

It's stuff like this that makes me glad that I only have to put up with -30C temperatures for a few days a year.

Rentier, I hate this time of year, but I don't think I'd do well in cold weather, once it gets below freezing, I only go out to take care of the animals and run back in the house to stay warm. Thin blood I guess.
