Lol, that's part of Arlo Guthrie's Motorcycle song, I was just trying to get the blog to post. The pickle bounce made me think of this song. Here is some more of it, I thought it was a cute song. You're loving your weather there as much as I am here, you are so right, enjoy it while it lasts! Can't say we are having low humidity though, but it's tolerable with the rain and cooler temps, unlike the 100's with high humidity, brings that darn heat index up! The 7 day forecast here will be low to upper eighties, anything below 90 works for me!!

The humidity here a couple of hours ago was 93%..... warm and MUGGY. I imagine we will wake up to fog and a heavy dew. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I didn't know that about Mr. Truman. I grew up close to his home. My favorite Truman quote is something I often share with others when I find myself in the midst of some kind of political debate. It has always been a great equalizer in friendly discussion. He said, You want a friend in Washington, get a dog.

I woke up to more rain and cool weather. Did you get that fog this morning? Right now, it is more seasonable..... 81 degrees and only 71% humidity. But this is August, and what do we expect in August? Hot and muggy! The dog days of summer for us. By this time next month, our evenings and mornings will be more tolerable and we will start to feel that night coolness that heralds the Autumn for us. I love Autumn.......... EXCEPT that winter follows quickly. Complain all the time, don't I?  Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I certainly did, lol. Glad I didn't have to get out and drive in it........ but tomorrow is another matter. We have to be at the hospital by 8:30, so I'm hoping for no fog. Not too long ago we had 100 days of 100 plus temps, so I have no idea what kind of Fall and Winter we'll have this year. I usually complain about only getting two weeks of Fall because it stays so hot till the end of October, 2 weeks of nice weather, then it gets cold. Maybe we'll get a longer Fall this year? Complain all you want, I don't like winter any more than you do.
