He did say he was sorry when I got out of my truck. Yeah, he's sorry all right!

The good thing is that you and the grandson were not hurt. He probably dinged his vehicle more than he did your truck. Even better, your daughter's eyes are improved. Reading glasses is no big deal.

I'm glad you are both ok! I imagine he searched his pea brain for an excuse and some way to blame you.

He's sorry alright - sorry he got sprung. Trying to shift the blame on to you was quite cowardly. Glad you're both ok nonetheless. Whenever you get bumped from behind now, do thoughts about protecting your neck injury from further jarring/damage instinctively come to the fore? Glad to hear eye surgery on both eyes was successful for your daughter; it must be an immense relief for her to be able to see 20/20 again

Congrats to your daughter for successful eye surgery. In reference to the dingbat who rear ended you obvious he wasn't paying attention to where he was driving. The fact that he was going to walk away before checking to see if anyone was in the truck doesn't say much about him.

Glad to hear eye surgery on both eyes was successful for your daughter; it must be an immense relief for her to be able to see 20/20 again Well, it has been 30 years since the last rear end incident that messed my neck up and no I wasn't ready for this one, but I do find that I tense up when I make a left turn onto my road seeing vehicles coming at me at 60MPH. Meaning I'm waiting for the traffic coming the other direction to clear and I'm a sitting duck until I can make my turn. It's been real close a couple of times. After this guy bumped me, my neck started hurting and locking up, but didn't start until I got back into my truck. Just from me being tense, so I leaned my seat back and relaxed till it eased up. I do have a chiropractor that works miracles when my neck gets really bad, he is a God send. Thank you and yes, she is immensely happy that she can see again.

Happy to hear about your daughter and that neither you nor your grandson was hurt. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
