Well, it's not the idiot resident in the WH.

He's sending 5 million barrels of our reserve oil to China and India.

Not producing oil, shutting down pipelines and sending our reserve oil overseas = higher prices for us! Not just higher prices, but soon none for us.

What happened to lower prices at the pump? Don't expect gas stations to lower their prices, they make maybe 2 cents on a gallon. Oil companies are between a rock and a hard place. Blackrock now has controlling shares and is in control of how much oil can be produced.

What are our representatives doing to help us? Absolutely nothing! All are living high on the hog with our tax dollars. Men/women who produce nothing spending money we don't have. Parasites!!

As George Carlin said: It's a BIG club, and you're not in it!

I'm going to reserve judgement until I hear the story from a legitimate news group ... but 5 million barrels of oil really isn't much.

Considering ... the United States consumes 20 million barrels of oil EVERY DAY

I was surprised by this yesterday, then found out it was already planned back in March. Plenty of news sources will confirm this. The US uses 20.6 million barrels a day, we produce only 18.61 million barrels a day.

Oh yeah, when all news sources report the same story, it has to be true. You can't hide this stuff when shipments are leaving out of Houston starting today and will keep going for the next 6 months.

Whoa there!! Common sense should tell us that you don't deplete one energy source before you have a new one in place. So China is using solar, or just producing solar components? So China shouldn't be getting any of our reserves if they are already using solar. Right? But that's not the truth. China is one of the largest environmental polluters on the planet and uses more coal than any other country. China ranks 1st in the world for Coal consumption, accounting for about 379.1% of the world's total consumption of 1,139,471,430 tons.

Yep, China gets stronger everyday and now our government is helping them to reach that goal.

Another part of the story that's kind of important ... the United States exports around 8 million barrels of oil PER DAY to hundreds of Countries.

So back in February Biden was begging the Saudis to produce more oil, which they didn't, and yet here we are not only shipping off our oil reserve but also 8 million barrels a day? So that leaves us a little over 10 million barrels left with a production rate of 18.61 million a day and the US uses 20.6 million a day. Do the math, we're screwed!

Not sure if we'll make it till then.

Just read today that 90% of our conservative representatives want to secede from the US, 66% of Texans want the same. LOL, then Texas will be selling oil to the US.

Most of those folks taking surveys have no idea how local, state/provincial, federal, or world economics work. ~~

Nileyears replies on 7/8/2022 8:39 pm:
So 90% of our elected conservative officials who decided to add seceding from the union on the next election ballet isn't going to happen? Well, it will be on the next election ballot and the people of Texas will get their chance to vote yes, or no. Texit has been in the works for years.

Niles calm down. LOL
Drilling has to be increasing because there is a constant stream of oil field pipe on trucks going by the man cave town----headed to west Texas up from Houston where it is manufactured.

The number of trucks has increased dramatically since Russia started the war.

The number of rigs currently drilling in Texas is public record and can be called up.
Less than last year but quickly increasing.

Gas has went down about 50 cents per gallon in two weeks.

So gas goes down .50 cents and the tax appraisal on the man cave went up 110 %. over last year. LOL

If I can find a fool to buy it for that price I am out of there. LOL
Party On!

Nileyears replies on 7/8/2022 8:55 pm:
Maybe you see pipe trucks running up and down the road Tx, but that doesn't mean those wells are producing anything yet. That doesn't happen over night. Gas prices only went down 20 cents here, 30 cents where my daughter lives. When prices go back under $2.00 a gallon and food and feed for the animals go down, them maybe I won't worry so much.

Yep, my property was $21,000 when I bought it, it's now worth close to half a million. If I find 100 acres with a reasonable price tag on it, I just might move away from here. Getting too crowded for my liking.

I don't pay much attention to polls and surveys, they are usually wrong. I should have said 90% of our representatives voted to add secession to the ballot. With our border wide open it wouldn't surprise me if the percentage of Texans wanting to secede is even higher than 66%.

The economy sucks. Haven't you heard? The 100 dollar bill is now the new 20.

Unemployment today is at 3.9 ... not to bad, ... Trump didn't do any better than that ...

Poor Americans struggled send their kids on Spring break, struggling to take their summer vacations found the money somehow to drive in record breaking numbers over the 4th of July.

**It's the same here in Canada. Lots of complaints about the price of food, gas, price of houses, cost of rent, etc. [necessities]

There are more jobs than people who want to fill them.

People are still spending like there's no tomorrow on wants... not needs.

No new jobs were created, the percentage rate is people returning to their jobs after the C-19 lockdowns. Inflation is causing the crappy economy, you can't keep printing more money without decreasing the value of the dollar. Some people are working 2 and 3 jobs trying to keep up with the inflation. Which also helps bring the job numbers up. Poor people I know aren't sending their kids off for vacations, they're lucky to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. If poor people are spending money on vacations, they can't be too poor, or they're just adding more to their credit card debt. In the later case, that's just dumb.

Make all the excuses you want but 3.9% ... is 3.9% ... is 3.9% ...

"No new jobs were created" .... really ... who told you that? I don't know what world you're living in, but people start new businesses every day and expand existing businesses every day.

What surprises me is that a "poor Texan" can actually make it working 3 jobs ... minimum wage in Texas is 7.25 per hour ...........and Texans who aren't poor aim to keep it that way ... "who loves you man"
...

Niles I know it is frustrating but now that we realize all that is wrong WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THE SITUATION TO COME OUT AHEAD LATER?
I have always looked at things different than most people.

Instead of just hanging on to survive ------ The time has arrived to make a fortune.

It is time to gamble on what we can control. There are different options on how to come out ahead of the current mess.

One option being do a little of what the big boys are doing. It has to do with real estate. Many options there.

And in knowing-- predicting----where to be when the money guys decide to revamp U.S. financial structure and how they will do it.

One thing for sure---- they will tank the markets and realign like several times in the past.

When they tank it we little guys will take the hit------ That being land values falling and becoming hard to sell.

It is time to sell now----- stock it in guaranteed CDs not to take a loss. With interest rates rising---inflation will take cds to higher earning like in the past.
But it will take about a year for it to get there.

Selling now at the HIGH is a sure thing. The opportunity is there.
That is life----- No risk No gain.
And never fall in love with real estate. LOL

I plan to take my tractor with me. LOL

Another possibility is options to buy---That is a whole different story.
Party On!

Bad news! I'm dreading what my electric bill will be this month!

I knew it was going to be one of those drought ridden hot summers a couple months ago. I guess when you get old enough you learn the weather cycles of Texas. Makes me wish I bought land up in Montana a few years ago, it would be a great escape from the heat!
