We have a traditional Thanksgiving here, right down to my Mother's stuffing recipe. My youngest daughter has never cooked a turkey in her life and said she never will, but sure enjoys eating one on turkey day! My oldest daughter does and someday it will be her cooking the turkey instead of me.

Must have read your mind Tx.

The girls are laying and have been for about six weeks. The eggs aren't quite large yet, more medium sized now. It's so nice to have fresh eggs again.

Our Thanksgiving Day in Canada is in October.

Many these days are passing on turkey and choosing ham, roast beef, steak, and even oriental dinners.

Enjoy~~~

Thank you Myseek, makes me feel better that at least a couple people noticed I was MIA.

Thanks Rocket, I always enjoy Thanksgiving.

My Mom used to prepare a turkey and a ham. Big family and four brothers a turkey wouldn't make it around the table. I really don't care much for ham, and I used to make a pot roast for Christmas dinner, but now that has changed to lasagna. My youngest was born right before Christmas and that's what she requests for the meal now. No birthday cake either, her b-day cake is her favorite pie, apple.

welcome back ! My daughter does not like touching turkey or chicken. LOL In blogs U missed a recipe for corn fritters.
This year we will have a few family and friends. I will make turkey and I chose fish this year. I haven't even thought about food for Christmas. It's usually Italian and something else.

Thanks Star Candy! LOL, That might be my youngest daughter's problem also!

So corn fritters was about it? No worries there, I can't eat corn.

Italian food is good anytime of the year!!
