Security - Funny

This was a blog posted by a guy called Browser4 on the Asian Friend Finder site. I take no credit for it. He gets it all. It has been up there for a while and I dont think he's on this site or he'd have posted it. I thought it was too funny to not share it here...... enjoy.......

Got to love this, what a good idea!

The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners

It's an armored booth you step into, that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on your person.

Israel sees this as a win-win situation for everyone, with none of this crap about racial profiling.

It will also eliminate the costs of long and expensive trials.
You're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion.
Shortly thereafter, an announcement:

"Attention to all stand-by passengers, we now have a seat available on flight 670 to London. Shalom!"

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

I have no idea if this was even true. Thought it was a good laugh.

As for plastic guns, there was a way of printing them through a special printer that could fabricate almost anything. I think the guns were good for a few rounds. The 'blueprints' or whatever you call them were banned I believe.

Correct about the 3D printer. We have one and all of the sites that provide hints and plans etc. for projects either have this info or can tell you where to find it.

Speaking from experience with more mundane projects like replacing the knob on a cooking pot making and a new cover for a key FOB it would take a very high quality printer to be able to print the pieces (you have to print it a piece at a time) with enough accuracy to make it work.
