All we can do is pray! The last one, last October, we lost power but had water.

We are getting stuff tomorrow and can use our gas grill if we need to.

Ms Ed and Ray live up in Kentucky, so they will probably just get a lot of rain from the remnants, like we might in Illinois. CJC and 60minman have left their home in Myrtle Beach and are farther inland at Gastonia, NC for the moment, but I don't know if they are going farther or not.
Karinpepita recently moved from CA to NC. She lives about 150 miles inland, but the storm can still give her a lot of grief.
We have family in Charleston and I know they are keeping a close eye on the situation.
BTW, they did start giving male names to some of the storms..... remember Hugo back in 1989? That was a nasty one. And the most recent one was Hurricane Gordon. We must believe in equality for naming them!
