It really shouldn't matter what a SCOTUS justice's personal views are, just that the laws are interpreted the way they were written. I hope Kavanaugh is one who will do that, and I hope that the people who supported him because they thought he would be "on their side" aren't angry when he makes decisions where they do not agree.
But one thing I really do hope is that people would stop screaming and name calling and start listening to each other............ oh, and VOTE.

Its a shame the Senator from Alaska couldn't vote her conscience and be done. Honestly I don't know anything about her, but I think she will be seen as an antidote to the right side given the close nature of this vote and circus that was. Another concrete example of the 'brand damage' of the left is the farce of the last couple weeks. The fake phd will, I hope, be driven into obscurity for her role. I don't believe a word of it

Now, as far as your title................ Did you see me sing? Did you hear me sing? Then how do you know that I sang? Do you have eye witnesses or is it just hear-say?
I know I sang, but it was a long time ago and my memory is kind of foggy at times...... I don't remember what I sang!

I was so disgusted with the way Kavanaugh was treated that I switched political parties. It's been a long time coming. I don't believe it is right to treat any human being that way regardless of agreeing or disagreeing with political or religious views. I wrote a letter to our Senators, Thanking one for her confirmation of Kavanaugh and the second letter encouraging our Democratic Senator to confirm Kavanaugh. His office and the Hart building were filled with protestors but he also voted to confirm Kavanaugh.

The behavior of elected officials no longer surprises me but Justice Kavanaugh's confirmation caused the dark side of American politics to surface. I'm not sure what bothers me the most - the fact that a handful of Americans think their rights are more important than mine, or the shameful displays of political partisanship.
