Brave to love.

BRAVE TO LOVE.

If you seek love, seek it in shadows
For darkness is comfort’s home for secrets
And love is a most secret exhilaration
Which delicates the spinal chord

If you desire passion, seek it within a quiet
For the ominous roar of emotion
Is a deafening scream of an exotic experience
Which is an echo of passion’s silence

Look for love in a deepest cavern
Which lies buried to depths of an unfathomed
Beneath the lost soul of a crying heart

There, be brave and in sympathy to its pain
Seek love in complicated conundrums
Damocles sword and the Gorgon’s knot
If you seek love then be a hero…
For love does make heroes of us all

Thanks for sharing your thoughts once again, Dream poet. I tried foolishly sometimes back, forgetting my age, to be brave like you have suggested but my Fimour never understood my bravery! Have a wonderful week. Regards

Hallo, my friend and thank you for your kind words. With age, love becomes such a refined notion; in that memories elasticate the sense of love and stretch the distance of dreams. I do understand what you write and what a poem your words would make...'That your Filmour never understood your bravery.'
Again, thank you and, likewise, enjoy your week.

You inspired me to write this.......

One who seeks love, cannot find it
One who wants love, cannot be it
One who needs love, cannot know it
One who gives love, does not seek, want , or need
.

Hallo, my friend, Jiminy. How wise you are and such a lot in so few words; an abbreviation of affection! This has turned out to be a very interesting afternoon, with all these comments. Thank you, Jiminy.

I can see my comments at above and also your response to the same! As you could manage to get those comments back here, I am not going to re post it again. I shall however take this opportunity to quote here under some lines from my favorite poet for you to read and ponder:
quote
"I so do love, yes, love do I
This tune that plays afar and near
The flute that rings on land and seas

Whose heart is it amidst azures
Singing in deep melancholy
Whose dusky eyes awash with tears
Brimming over in the distance

In that melody sad and sweet
Rise endless wails in rolling waves
Breaking free on sea shores".......Unquote

.Take care and be happy

Thank you, Maudie... Sometimes there is magic in the air, just a breeze which makes the heart beat faster. I love to write poetry, in reality, it's the only true way to express the self.
