Love's Sensation.

I ask that infiltration comes not in a directness
That it comes in quietly through sweet suggestion
And I will return the visit as a breath of fresh air
And gently perfumed so that its scent
Is deeply breathed and remains within you
As a spirited love which mixes and intoxicates
Your life’s blood, to circulate and flow
Through your veins as a pulsation of love

Come to me softly as night infuses day
That I sense your love as a delicate feeling’s joy
Yet cannot confirm your natural identity
Come in at me as a gentle drifting, a cloying
So that an atmosphere is in touching distance
Yet beyond an experience of sight
Be the tingle of excitement which smiles
And a welcome guest who alights on my lips

Let us meet at sometime beyond destiny’s play
Within a reach of warming daylight’s Sun
Yet in sensible to the cool of evening’s charm
To meet as intermingling souls
Whose vanity’s lost in this mist of pleasure
I ask that you do not come in a swift allowance
Nor shall I appear in such short disclosure
But rather we drift into a soft and slow content
Of each other for the sake of love’s sensation

Slow and steady wins the race... or in this case... fair maiden or fellow.

Kind of..... Relax & enjoy the moments.

lol... Indeed, Rocket; softly, softly catches monkey! You are so right and I shall, when my time comes, relax and enjoy the moment (Mind you, by the time it happens, I wont be fit to understand what's going on!)

Old love is nice Ron, relaxing and no pressure

Ah, dear Breda... You are so right! With age comes knowledge and the wisdom to know what's real. And there's no pressure at all, certainly not like any youthful love, with its rush and blush!
