While I do enjoy the bagpipe music, I think I would scream and bang my head too if it played all night!

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Does Donald cook haggis too? The neighbors would love the smell.

I have a neighbour who plays the bagpipes.....not very well......His wife won't let him practice in the house and the neighbourhood won't let him practice in the yard, so he tries to find out-of the way places to practice, like the beach and the forest, but people tell him he is disturbing the peace that they go there to enjoy......He gets hopping mad at this, exclaiming that he will never be able to improve if he's not allowed to practice........Thing is, there are places he could go far away from others, but he also wants to be heard and appreciated. Last I heard he took his bagpipes with him in his boat (aluminum skiff), but sound carries on the water and he didn't go out far enough for those on the beach.....I've read that the instrument was originally designed for the military to rouse the soldiers heading for battle......I don't doubt it.

But I do love the bagpipe band in a parade.....In Canada every parade has bagpipers in full Scottish regalia......Kilts and stuff......I love the way it sounds from a distance, but by the time they have marched by, I've had enough......They signal that the parade is coming and gets us excited......Not the Gay Pride parade though.........
