Todays Americana Question

A music question today.

Tex Owens wrote and recorded this song in 1934 but it became more closely associated with another singer. It was number one on the Country Songs Top 100 for two weeks in 1955. Can you name it?

"The cattle are prowlin'
The coyotes are howlin'
Way out where the doggies roam
Where the spurs are a jinglin'
And the cowboy is singin'"
Back in the Saddle Again
The Old Chisholm Trail
The Cattle Call
Tumbling Tumbleweeds
I don't know

Now I got that song running around in my head!!! Gee thanks. Oh, got yesterday's correct too.

The older I get, the less I care what people think of me, so the older I get, the more I enjoy life.
