I think everyone is free to think what they want, and should not be ridiculed for it. I also think people are free to chose to do whatever they want, as long as it is lawful and doesn't harm others. Does that mean I approve of this.....I guess a lot depends also on the physical arrangement of the facility. If I lived in that area and had kids, I would not have to go to that pool or to let my kids go there if I didn't approve of the set up. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

You are basing an opinion on lies......this is what you usually do. You have been told over and over that you are getting your information from extremely biased propaganda sites......You swallow the misinformation whole. If you want the truth, you need to get information from many sources and think about it......apply your critical thinking skills.......That means you think about Montreal......Do you know anything about Montreal? Then you think about the cost of the new public facility that has had the input of thousands of informed, intelligent adults in the planning stages.....Do you imagine that a city of a couple of million people, a high % of them being Catholic, would approve plans for a facility like what is described in your Summit article?........Do you think that those responsible had not considered the needs of the residents? Or that it has never occurred to them to consider what the consequences would be for building a facility like you imagine? You say you hope it goes out of business, which means you don't even know that it's not a business, but a municipally owned public facility........Are you embarrassed yet?

So... why did you direct this blog at Sparkle when you know that she lives on the other side of the country? Why ask her when you could have found out the truth of the matter very easily? It took me two minutes to go to the Montreal website and find out the truth for myself.... and I live half a world away. Sounds pretty private to me once you go into a stall and lock the door, you can change and shower all by yourself. Bigblock makes it sound like a typical pool locker room where everyone is changing in one big open area and showering together. I can only speculate that Bigblock had a bad experience in the Men's only locker room. Chances are good that mothers or fathers and small children would share a stall. I doubt any parent would leave their child unattended in a shower room or a restroom. BTW Katie has bigblock seen your butt? He just got mad because he was caught in a lie. And, no he has never seen my butt... that's all in his twelve year old imagination!!!

I notice that you ignore the plight of children in American concentration camps, who are in just as much danger... if not even more so...than children at swimming pools. Why is that acceptable to you? How many American mothers allow their children to go swimming without supervision? What is worse for you? Being complicit in placing vulnerable children in concentration camps with absolutely no protection at all from predators... or facing your responsibility as an adult human being, for all children? After all you are happy enough to imprison children. That stinks of hypocrisy. By the way... no children in my family were ever allowed to go ANYWHERE without proper adult supervision.

Exactly. With the one Bigblock is describing it will make it easier on the opposite sex parent to bring their children into the changing room without making anyone else uncomfortable. Takes the question out of "how old is too old" to be in the presence of the opposite sex in stages of undress in a public changing room.
