I agree with what you said, but I don't think the representatives all intend to just sit at home. I heard one, a Democrat, say she thought it was a good idea for those who want to vote on an issue, but is at home for health reasons. She said that they all need to be at Congress, working on the various committees and other projects.
BTW, did you see where Pelosi said that the 3 trillion monstrosity that she got passed yesterday was not a serious bill? It was just to open up negotiations.

So you think this Daniel Webster's quote from 1858 is applicable to the present situation?......Oh the irony. You seem completely unaware that it could be so much more accurately applied to the president and his goons.......

"I fear they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants and fail properly to to scrutinize their conduct, that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men."..........Yesterday Trump , while voicing his doubts that testing was a good idea, said this..."If we didn't have testing, we'd have way fewer cases.".......meanwhile, he has ramped up testing of those he comes into contact with.......In the Whitehouse they are tested every day.

Nancy Pelosi moves towards utilizing modern technology to save lives ...how dare she....She must think she's the Queen.....

Yes, it's traditional for a government to meet in person, but these are extraordinary circumstances and technology now makes it possible for them to work remotely. As Mrs. Joe says, they are still going to do their jobs.

You compare them to essential workers.....Truck drivers. medical workers and policemen can't do their jobs remotely, though many medical workers have set up remote systems for consultations, technology still hasn't come up with remote surgery.....as you must be aware of........The fewer people there are mingling, the safer everyone else is.....But you think members of Congress should risk lives because of your petty political vengeance fantasies.....Got it....LOL

You still don't get it.......yes they can do all those things remotely.....you don't seem to understand the technology.....there are actually articles that explain how they will do it......

This is very important for you to understand and every responsible citizen will educate themselves on this subject.....Quarantine does not only protect the person in quarantine, but all those who they would have come into contact and all those who come into contact with them.....It's a circular domino effect....it's important that you understand that......Remote function of the House doesn't give Pelosi more power.....they will still vote and debate .........You are making assumptions based on a lack of understanding of the technology.

Yes Bigblock, the Pandemic is unconstitutional........Maybe Billy Barr can remove Covid 19 from power.......Maybe Trump's lawyers can find a way for Trump to sue the 90.000 corpses for disrupting normal procedure.....

Well, you DID reference a fantasy novel from the last century.....WWW was a character in the Wizard of Oz..... how is that relevant to the topic at hand?
