Mickey Moose is long in the tooth but Minnie likes him that way

she's no sae young hersel' forsooth, it's boobs, no hips that sway.

her eyes are sae dim she cannae see his spankin' new toupee

or even his nifty comb-over, though his baldy heid must shine

But, as the sayin' goes all over the world, true love is always blind!.

In my mother tongue, Norwegian, mouse is pronounced "moose"........And when we came to Canada and saw moose......those huge, ungainly, honking monstrosities, the biggest animals we had seen outside a circus, we were really tickled......The smallest mammal and the biggest mammal having the same name we laughed and laughed.......

So I was going through my Tickle Trunk today, making an early start on planning my Halloween costume......I volunteer at a children's Halloween do at our Community Centre every year.......I love it.......I came across some Minnie Mouse ears and thought about dressing up as an ageing Minnie.......glasses, a bun with knitting needles in it.......probably not, I usually like to do a scary/nice balancing act........the kids like being scared, but with a balance of reassurance.......
I'm actually quite good at striking that balance.....Hey, I know.....Zombie Minnie Mouse........ hee hee....
