Did you know that by the narrowest of margins, the Bald Eagle was named as America's national symbol.

Yep Ben Franklin's lobby fell a tad short and soon hushed whipers behind closed back room doors were saying

BAN FRANKLIN !
,
BAN PHILLY STEAK AND CHEESE !

THINGS HAVE BEEN A BIT TO ROCKY AROUND HERE!

CAPITALS DON'T LAST TOO LONG WHEN YOUR A NON SUPREME COURT LOWER CASE. !

BEST I COULD COME UP WITH PUN WISE AND AN SILVER DOLLAR EAGLE SHORT!

The photo of the eagle depicts an eagle perched in the topmost branches of a Douglas Fir overlooking a beach and a small bay in BC Canada......this particular eagle is not a symbol of the USA, but a living, breathing animal that dives for spawning salmon, but eats mostly carrion. I live amongst them, they are a common sight here and I have seen hundreds of them congregate at a time......
