PAINTINGS I LOVE #1

I have a bunch of photos of paintings on my laptop, but unfortunately and embarrassingly, I've lost the info on them, but hopefully you might enjoy them anyways....... I love this one for it's simplicity......for the ability to evoke so much without detail.....with dabs of colour that are so amazingly well spaced and the colours so perfect they are immediately suggestive and then my eye shifts and there is a whole other picture......I can only dream of being capable of such fecund simplicity...

Sparkle thanks for this blog. It reminds me of the basic reason I come to this internet site. This site allows the opportunity to observe or converse with people from all walks of life with knowledge and class from the sewer up to the mountain top. There is something to be learned from everyone and everything through observation and thought as to why. This simple blog and the few comments demonstrate the whole. It is life of which we are part. Thank You. And of course Party On!
