THROWBACK THURSDAY... So I was thinking about how much we miss the Summer Music Festivals and our Fall Fair. I always participate in the Fall Fair....I was remembering how much fun it was to bring my Grands and make a day of it........and then I remembered the year my Grandaughter was 5 and she made friends with a girl not much older than her who was face-painting at her mom's booth.......I think she requested to be a cat......she loves cats.......Anyways, this is what she ended up with.....I laughed till I cried......     |

Tomorrow I'm going to wait for the bus with her as she heads for her first day in grade 7.......with a face-mask on.....I should paint her one with a cat-face...... Well, actually, she was 6....

Today was her first day of school for 7th grade....We couldn't get a specific time that the school bus would stop at the bottom of our driveway, so she might have to stand out there by herself for 15-20 minutes....So her older brother and I brought lawn-chairs down there and the three of sat in the Sun waiting for the bus and waving at cars going by, some of which honked and/or waved......LOL...When the almost empty bus came, she put on her mask before she boarded.The bus-driver was sitting behind a floor-ceiling clear plastic shield, but he waved at us........I felt like I was sending her into a storm.....
