Mother's Day Bouquet

I had a lovely Mother' Day with my and their spouses and grandchildren.....Out in the yard with the aromas of Lilacs and Wisteria and the sounds of bees and birdsong........

My daughter gave me a gorgeous red lawn-lounger and my son brought me veggies from his garden and a beautiful bouquet of Parrot Tulips .....deep purple ones that my husband had planted as a Mother's Day gift to me many year ago......Next Mother's Day, I want hugs......lots of big, tight, long hugs......

It doesn't get any better than that! Except with hugs, gotta have those hugs. I got some of those when my grandson from CA and family was here last week. Love those hugs, and have no idea when I'll ever get a chance to hug him again.

That sounds like the perfect way to spend Mother's Day to me. We celebrate Mother's Day in March, this year it fell on the 14th.

Because of distance Mother's Day was more or less canceled. Had we been physically together, we would have been very "normal" with tight (unmasked) hugs.
The bouquet your son gave you looks beautiful!
