It makes interesting designs of light, dark, and colors.
If I had laid down to take that picture, I would still be laying there until someone helped me get up.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

My Physiotherapist of many years, who was ancient when I started going to her in my forties and is still practicing, told me that when she was studying in Russia, they were told that the bottom line of physical mobility is to be able to get up off the floor unassisted....I took that to heart.......

It's a lovely bright picture for sure, well worth the effort. You sound like a very fit lady indeed.

I'm going to see if I can get up from that position unassisted. Phew, just about did it, with some difficulty I must admit.

Oh goodness, you're braver than I am! My fear of ticks keeps me upright and away from tall grasses ... always!

A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

Ferns are in abundance on the west coast of BC. They just seem to grow everywhere. This is a nice photo of ferns Sparkle and you have caught the light shining through the ferns. It seems as though when I read the comments on blogs that we all live in unique areas when it comes to trees and flowers.

When the new Sword Ferns are all unfurled and spread their arms to the Springs Sun and the birds and bees are singing......all is well in my world......

These are not Bracken fern, though we have a lot of those around here too, which grow as tall as people. These are Sword Fern.....They grow in a circular cluster, like a crown and are evergreen.....They last all Winter. The old ones move to the outer edge and become darker and tough and the new ones emerge from the centre in tight knots that grow tall and unfurl until this time of year, when they are the feathery pale and fragile fern in the photo/

Thanks for pointing that out (pardon pun). The unfurling leaves reminded me of bracken. I like the lighting in your shot too.
