.........Here's a Vaselisa Doll I made for my Daughter and a bunch of Thistle Down .......I wanted to fill the whole space with photos of Down, but for some reason the photos shrunk when I moved them and I couldn't figure out how to change their size......Then I added the Doll, but the photos wouldn't show up where I wanted them to......But here's my low-tech offering..........

Nice photos Sparkle. I don't try to anything fancy when posting photos on the blogs. With my luck they would disappear in a blink of an eye. I am no genius when it comes to posting photos. What you see is what you get.

Very nice photos Sparkle. I love the flower of the thistle, especially the delicate blue one. So very prickly though. Such a cute little dolly, sitting in her flower chair.

In the fields where I used to play as a child there were milkweed pods. The pretty seeds in your photo of the thistle down remind me of the airborne seeds of the milkweed when the pods burst open in the fall. A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

The doll is interesting, and a keepsake for sure, to be treasured and passed down. But that third picture is fantastic. So many things in nature that we just take for granted, when enlarged are really works of art. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

THE THIRD PHOTO IS DAZZLING. NOTHING LOW-TECH ABOUT IT.

I love the pinks in the doll - I like her, not the usual Barbie doll offering. Beautiful selection of thistles. The third picture especially found susurrus gently in their midst :- )

That's a well done rag doll, your daughter would enjoy playing with it, wouldn't she? I remember that my sister loved the dolls that one of our aunts used to make for her. Thanks for sharing. Trust in dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.(Khalil Gibran)
