LILY MEOW.....

I'm not sure how Lily got up there, but she loves this perch.....She's an old lady, but she can still climb a ladder and dance on the rafters......The barn-swallows that nested above her head are gone, but they will be back in the Spring.......to raise their young and eat mosquitoes..........

She's a barn cat. They are tough.

Cats do seem to prefer high perches. Even in his later years, ours would jump to the counter, then to the top of the refrigerator, and then to the top of the cabinets. He had one specific spot as his objective and I made sure I put nothing up there or he would push it off. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I just thought of you, and smiled. I was looking out of our bedroom window and suddenly about 4 or 5 barn swallows went swooping by the window and circled out above the grain bins nearby. They are so graceful, but so swift that I can never get a picture of one.
