So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy of six books" written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, as described in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. A song of the same name was featured in the 2005 film adaptation of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

So, nothing in regards to Douglas Adams and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe huh?.....I've brought him up on this site before .....a decade or so ago with no response........same with Monty Python.....not even Life of Brian......No fun at all........Insular Americans......

What I was referring to, with "insular" was that many Americans have no interest or curiosity about cultures other than American........You sure get defensive easily.......What are your thoughts on Douglas Adams' oeuvre?

Why do you call Douglas Adams my author?.....And refer to his books as "make believe bullshit books"?........Are you saying that that fantasy isn't a legitimate genre of literature?......Your profligate use of "LOL" and "party on" are obviously defensive camouflage ......in reality you have an enormous stick up your ass......

I see......You read "about" the author but have never read his work......Sure, that makes you an expert.........What do you read for fun? besides your wife's Bible, that is.....Speaking of make believe bullshit .......LOL...Party On....

Sparkle a lot of your stuff I enjoy reading and thus I will comment on it if it falls into the category of stuff that I like. But if it doesn't then I just pass it by. To comment on something for the sake of commenting I do not do that. It is nothing personal. Most of the bloggers here I consider my online friends and in particular the Foto-Friday group.
