The world outside my door is yellow and blue today.......Because of the storm earlier in the week, most of the yellow is now on the ground......making a beautiful carpet........

Oh wow Sparkle these are lovely photos. I forgot about the word yellow and could have used the yellow maple trees behind my place. The colors are spectacular.

NICE TO HAVE A YARD. I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT AND CAN ONLY LOOK AT THE GARDEN NEXT DOOR. THERE ARE NO TREES THERE WITH LEAVES THAT CHANGE COLORS IN FALL. IF WE WANT FALL COLORS WE HAVE TO HEAD FOR THE MOUNTAINS.

I agree with Maudie about the pictures of the leaves on the ground.... brings back memories of walking through the fallen leaves when I was a kid, and kicking them at my friends.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

The fallen Maple leave are always entertaining.......They are huge......the size of cloth napkins or washcloths and if you try and kick them, when they're wet, which is likely, they will attach themselves to your shoe..........The also drape themselves over lower branches and undergrowth like laundry on a line........
