 we finally got a real snow.....the kind you can play in....so I went out and played in the snow.....

I love making snow angels~~~

I hope it was the wet kind good for making snowballs and snow families.

 Just like a kid, eh? LOL. I don't blame you at all. There is something about that first good snowfall that is magical and brings out the youth in us. The pictures are lovely.
I just don't look forward to the added problems that often comes with it.... extreme cold, roads drifted closed, and power outages. Didn't seem to be a problem when I was younger.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

There's rain forecast for Tuesday.....It was really cold here at Christmas, before the snow.....My daughter and I walked over on the ferry instead of taking the car...I was hoping to find some nice clothes at the post-Christmas sales, but when I got there, I realized that there was no way was taking off all those layers and putting them back on to try clothes on......Anyways, all the clothing left at the sales were horrid colours....baby -poo gold, popsicle turquoise and skipping-rope pink..........

Actually, it was the really light fluffy kind that we so seldom get here.....perfect for snow-angels........I followed several Raccoon trails.....Those guys must be very hungry right now.....I have to resist putting food out for them....

 It was a big dump last night. Today when I went out in the afternoon there was snow piled up everywhere. But I heard that Vancouver Island got more at Christmas than anywhere else and now last night's dump must make it a bit difficult to getting around for some.

Thank you Star for the good wish......I won him as a door prize.....knitted by a friend.....I made the wreath at our annual wreath-making party...from the host's grape vines and greenery from another friend.......So yes, it's infused with friendship magic....

 NICE. IT HARDLY EVER SNOWS HERE ON THE COAST. THIS YEAR WE ARE HAVING ABNORMALLY HIGH TEMPERATURES AND TODAY WE HAVE EVEN HAD FOG, SOMETHING THAT WE ALMOST NEVER HAVE. I HATE TO SAY IT, BUT SOMETIMES I MISS THE SNOW.
